Maintenance Technician – Doylestown, PA

Seeking individual with experience in general construction, or home renovation/repairs for position as Maintenance Tech/Apartment Turns for an apartment community located in Doylestown, PA.

The primary focus of the Maintenance Tech/Apartment Turns is to delivery Rent Ready Apartments; which includes some or all of the following: general repairs, electrical, painting, dry-wall repair, plumbing repair, removal/install of cabinets, cleaning, and punch out and trash-outs as per a schedule.

​

Individual must be able to work independently in order to meet deadlines and have strong attention to details.

Other tasks will including: completing work orders, routine maintenance around the property, janitorial tasks and trash removal.

​

This position participates in the property’s On-Call Services on a rotating basis (responding to emergency calls or service needs which happen afterhours, on weekends, and on holidays.)

Schedule:

 

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday

• On call 

• Overtime

​

Ideal Candidate Must Have/Be:

• General Construction Experience and knowledge in the areas of drywall repair, handyman tasks, general plumbing and general electric.

• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a residential or commercial setting

• Comfortable using technology, including tablets and smartphones, for daily tasks such as work order management, email communication, and navigating apps related to property operations and maintenance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

• 1-2 Years Experience in General Construction, Home Remodeling/Restoration or Handyman Work

• 1-2 Years Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service orders

Ability to commute:

• Doylestown, PA 18901: Reliably commute

​

Certifications/Licenses:

HVAC Certified – Preferred

Electric Certification – Preferred

Trade School Certification

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
